Retail Redefined
A new kind of retail experience
Let’s Reinvent Retail Together
Ripe for a Retail Renaissance
Following new urbanist principles of walkability, mixed use and high density amenities, your new offering will be in the heart of the southeast’s largest urban redevelopment project. You’ll find plenty of parking and a comfortable environment that will leave your customers with a desire to linger long and come back often. With new street-level storefronts, tree-lined shaded streets and walking distance to residential, commercial and other outdoor amenities, The BullStreet shopping district will be one of a kind.

WestLawn Retail
At completion, BullStreet will be full of an engaging mix of local and national shops and restaurants, high-quality entertainment like Fireflies baseball games and concerts, comfortable residences, renovated historic buildings, public art and more – a destination neighborhood that reflects the authenticity of Columbia.
Retail Happenings
Seattle-based REI Co-op sits at one of several entrances into the District. The second South Carolina location of REI opened in August 2020 in the BullStreet District. The national retailer sells sporting equipment, camping gear, and outdoor clothing out of their 20,000 square-foot store, in addition to offering community workshops connecting shoppers and co-op members to outdoor opportunities. With its central location near Columbia’s downtown districts and quick accessibility to Highway 277 and Interstate 126, the BullStreet District offers retailers a strong setting for serving the entire Midlands region.

Columbia, S.C.’s Playful Soul
As the Palmetto State’s capital and a college town, Columbia’s fiery vibe cultivates a colorful arts scene while an indie spirit envelops several energized entertainment districts overflowing with locally owned boutique shops, eateries, spas and salons, and night spots. And BullStreet is in the heart of it all.
