Elliott Davis Announces Move to the BullStreet District

Columbia, S.C. (Tuesday, May 2, 2023) —The Columbia office of Elliott Davis, LLC will occupy the second floor of the BullStreet District’s WestLawn office building beginning this fall. More than 80 employees will move into approximately 19,500 sq. ft., with private access to an outdoor terrace overlooking Matilda Evans Street.

Elliott Davis is a leading business solutions firm offering a full spectrum of services in the areas of tax, comprehensive assurance and consulting services to diverse businesses, organizations and individuals. With nearly 800 forward-thinking professionals located in major U.S. markets, including Columbia, and alliance resources across the globe, Elliott Davis ranks among the Top 40 and fastest-growing accounting firms in the United States.

“We are looking forward to being a part of the exciting things happening in the BullStreet District,” says Rick Davis, CEO of Elliott Davis. “Our new Columbia location, in one of the most unique office buildings in South Carolina, will feature modern amenities and state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to expand the reach of our services and provide more space for our team to collaborate and innovate.”

The five-story, 79,000 sq. ft. WestLawn, encased within 10-foot-tall windows to maximize natural light, was constructed with cross-laminated timber, which was invented in the 1990s as the only structural commercial building material that is a sustainable and renewable resource. It significantly reduces reliance upon concrete and steel.

WestLawn is the first office building in Columbia to be built with cross-laminated timber, which supports great design, efficient construction, comfortable living and environmental responsibility. Mass timber technology combines modern architecture with the look and charm of old Southern buildings that withstood the test of time and aesthetics.

“Elliott Davis is one of the premier firms of its kind in South Carolina,” says Robert Hughes, president of Hughes Development Corporation. “They’re terrific corporate citizens and will be a great addition to the growing list of businesses and organizations in WestLawn.”

Elliott Davis will join other great office tenants in WestLawn, including the Robinson Gray Stepp & Laffitte law firm and international infrastructure consulting firm AECOM.
