(July 10, 2023) – Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant officially opened its doors in the BullStreet District on Thursday, June 22 — bringing its focus of providing exceptional food, award-winning handcrafted beer and commitment to community to the heart of Columbia, S.C. Continuing its longstanding dedication to supporting local communities, Iron Hill has launched its GIVE 20 fundraising program and invites Midlands-area nonprofits to sign up online at ironhillbrewery.com/community-giving. Through the GIVE20 program, nonprofit participants will receive 20 percent of food sales for every table that presents the organization’s Give 20 coupon on a designated day.

During Iron Hill Columbia’s ceremonial First Pour opening event, the organization presented a $30,000 donation to its long-standing philanthropic partner, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, a national nonprofit that aims to drive innovation, eliminate research barriers and solve the field’s most challenging problems. Funds were raised collectively at all Iron Hill locations over the past year through the brewery & restaurant’s Triple Chocolate Hill dessert, of which $0.75 of each sale was donated to CureSearch. Since forming a partnership in 2004, Iron Hill has donated more than $350,000 to CureSearch.

The new Columbia location marks Iron Hill’s 21st establishment and its second in South Carolina, following the successful opening of Iron Hill Greenville in 2018. Spanning 7,500 square feet, the space features Iron Hill’s signature onsite brewing facility and scratch kitchen, with indoor and outdoor seating for over 400.

With more than 25 years of award-winning recognition at national and international beer competitions —racking up over 80 awards — Iron Hill Columbia offers an array of signature beers and seasonal offerings. Also, as part of its Hometown Tap program, Iron Hill offers a special Soda City Pils (pilsner). Crafted with meticulous precision, this pilsner delivers a harmonious balance and a refreshing taste. The Hometown Tap at Iron Hill Columbia is the sole source of this Columbia-named beer.

Iron Hill Columbia’s menu features an assortment of appetizers and soups, burgers and sandwiches, hearth-baked pizzas, salads, and entrees, with several items inspired by its lineup of award-winning beers, including the Fried Chicken Sandwich with IPA Sriracha Ranch and the VooDoo Chicken Pizza with Vienna Red Lager BBQ sauce.

The new Iron Hill is located in the BullStreet District at 945 Sabal St., Columbia, SC 29201 and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-12 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. In addition to dine-in service, online ordering, take out, delivery and beer to go is available.
